a (re)collection / uma (re)coleção

this is a very meaningful collection of drawings made during brazilian winter (something like april to september). it's meaningful because it marks the end of a 1-year period of no artistic production. it also marks my return to my hometown and the end of my cycle in the big city of São Paulo. i also started my engineering studies this year so the drawings came out a bit "structural" at first, but the usual organic shapes started to show up recently.
esta é uma coleção de desenhos bastante significativa, feita durante o fim do outono e o inverno brasileiro. é significativa porque marcou o fim de um ano inteiro sem produção artística. também marca o meu retorno à minha cidade natal e o fim do meu ciclo na enorme cidade de São Paulo. também comecei meus estudos de engenharia este ano, então os desenhos saíram um bocado "estruturais" no início, mas as formas orgânicas voltaram a dar as caras recentemente.
